Does Alimentation Couche-Tard inc. have more than one class of common share ?
Alimentation Couche-Tard inc. has two classes of common shares: Class A Multiple Voting Shares and Class B Subordinate Voting Shares.  Class A is mainly held by incorporators and certain institutional investors.  Class B is normally the most negotiated since it is held by a greater number of shareholders. Each Class A carries 10 votes and each Class B carries one vote.

Does the Company pay a dividend to its shareholders ?
On November 15, 2005, the Company’s Board of Directors adopted a quarterly dividend policy of Cdn$0.025 per share on Class A multiple voting shares and Class B subordinate voting shares (the shares).

In March 2010, with the aim to maintain the return on investment to our shareholders, the Board of Directors has adjusted upward the quarterly dividend to Cdn$0.04 per share.
